As a good, old wine matures, so the Silva Daskalakis winery in the prefecture of Heraklion, Crete, over the years, has acquired value, timelessness, prestige, expertise and high distinctions for its excellent varieties and quality. A family tradition that began in 1920 and continues its wonderful journey, offering unique wines with labels that win international acclaim and reflect the history of Minoan Crete in the best way. In 2006 came the first ‘golden’ recognition, winning the award ‘GREAT GOLD’ in an international wine competition and at the same time, we were the first winery in Crete to achieve such an award.
