It is consumed as a serving cheese, “saganaki” and also in Greek Salad, cheese pies and as a backed dish, delicious! Dairy Factory KARALIS is the largest factory for the production and export of Kefalograviera cheese. The factory has been processing Ipiros sheep milk for many years and producing the famous traditional Ipiros cheeses. Following market demands, the quality and taste of the produced food products are constantly being improved, nutritious traditional products are produced. The main advantages of the company are its vast experience in the field of cheese production, good relations with suppliers and the good reputation it has created. Ipiros cheeses are famous all over the world. The Karalis family has been involved in cheese production for three generations. Mr. Konstantinos Karalis, who grew up in a cheese-making family, received the profession of a cheese maker. The first modern cheese factory was built in 1965 in Petra Preveza, from where the export of goods began in 1982. At first, exports were made to the United States of America and Canada, and then to Australia. Respect for tradition is the motto of a small family-run traditional cheese factory that has developed into the Ipiros Dairy.
