+ Extra virgin olive oil is produced by select Greek family farmers who ensure that only the best extra virgin olive oil reaches the valued customers. Olives are handpicked so not to be bruised and lose their nutritional ingredients and unique taste. The modern techniques used for the olive oil extraction, allow heat to reach up to 27C° (first cold extraction) and preserve the fruits’ nutrients. The best outcome is collected, following all the appropriate analyzes, and stored in metal tanks until its bottling. All procedures follow ISO 9001 & 22000. EVGE extra olive oil won gold award at the International Olive oil Quality competition “KOTINOS 2017”. The word EVGE is an interjection denoting praise, approval and is synonymous with the word “excellent”! Under this philosophy we created EVGE Hellenic Food Company based in Athens Greece. Our company is managed by Yannis Papageorgiou (Certified as Professional Olive Oil Experts) and our aim is to promote and commercialize the most high-quality food products of our land. Our initial goal is to maintain the superb quality of the Greek products that compose our product range, in order to obtain and conserve our customer’s faith and become their first choice. All of our products come from selected areas of Greece, and fulfill the requirements of the most demanding customers around the globe. We have chosen our partners carefully, so that they all align with our company’s philosophy, and they all are as passionate as we are in maintaining the real aroma and high quality of the Greek crop. We export in 18 countries worldwide.
